A RESCUE CALL COMES IN
Someone in the community spots an animal in distress and contacts us. Our field coordinators respond immediately, dispatching a trained rescue team to the location.
WE GO TO THEM
Our field rescue team reaches the animal, carries out a safe and humane rescue, and begins immediate first assessment. No animal is left behind.
STRAIGHT INTO PARTNER CARE
From the rescue site, the animal is transported directly to one of our 500+ vetted partner shelters or rescue homes — hand-selected by our team for their standards and compassion. There is no holding facility. Animals go straight into proper care.
VETERINARY TREATMENT
Our network of 200+ veterinary partners provides immediate medical assessment and treatment — coordinated by Pets Sanctuary and funded by our donors. From routine care to complex surgery, no medical need goes unmet.
REHABILITATION
Once medically stable, every animal enters our structured rehabilitation programme. Our specialists work on behavioral recovery, trauma healing, and confidence building — ensuring the animal is genuinely ready for a home, not just physically recovered.
ADOPTION OR FOSTERING
When the animal is ready, our adoption and fostering team finds the right match. We screen applicants carefully, facilitate introductions, and provide ongoing support after placement. This is what everything was building toward.
